The Life in Space application is developed and distributed by Hereleb S.r.l., whose registered office is located at Via Maggiore Giovanni Piovesana 115, Conegliano, 31015, Italy. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Hereleb S.R.L. is the data controller responsible for processing personal data.
The app is dedicated to the Life in Space exhibition, which is currently hosted at the Mulva Cultural Center in De Pere, Wisconsin, but is designed to accompany the exhibition to all of its future locations.
2. The purpose of the app:
The Life in Space app is provided free of charge to enhance the visitor experience through:
- Augmented reality (AR) content;
- audio guides and thematic insights;
- an exhibition map;
- an information panel;
- the opportunity to take photos and record videos;
- the opportunity to share such content through the device's system features.
3. Data Collection and Processing
The app does not collect, store, or transmit users' personal data.
No login or registration is required, and no identifiable information is saved or sent to external servers.
The app works entirely offline and does not use:
- Internet connections,
- cookies or tracking tools,
- statistical analysis or unique identifiers,
- GPS geolocation.
4. Access to device permissions
The app may request certain local permissions necessary for its operation:
Camera: to activate AR content and take photos/videos;
Microphone: to record videos with
Local storage: to temporarily save photos and videos.
All files created are stored only on the user's device.
Hereleb S.R.L. does not have access to this content.
5. Content sharing
Photos or videos are shared exclusively at the user's discretion, using the device's native functions (e.g., email, social media, messaging).
The app does not automatically send any content or data to third parties.
6. Legal Basis for Data Processing
Since no personal data is processed, no legal basis is required under the GDPR.
However, Hereleb S.R.L. guarantees compliance with the security, transparency,
and privacy protection principles provided by current legislation.
