Visitors embarking on the expedition enter an enclosed space to find themselves at the side of a lake under natural daylight...
It is the start of a great adventure.
● SAVANNAH NIGHT
Your quest continues in the darkness of the savannah night in Kenya where you will gather with other species who have come from far away to quench their thirst around a pond.
A bushfire triggers the animals to flee in a roaring panic leading you on to continue your journey.
● OXYGEN
Find refuge in the cloudy oxygen passage and discover the overwhelming sounds of plants growing towards the sky,
all around and upon you, as if you were part of the process of photosynthesis.
● HIGH UP IN THE CANOPY
Visitors are seized with vertigo: high above the ground, the canopy shelters a surprising array of life,
protected by the forest’s thickness.
● DARK EARTH
On your way under the ground, you will tread amongst a myriad of bioluminescent filaments that conduct electrochemical currents.
● GOING UNDERGROUND
You have dug ten feet underground and can now adopt the perspective of a mole to explore the unexpected riches of soil life, from bacteria to mushrooms, roots and ants, and feel part of the interconnectedness that is key to all life.
● LIGHT EARTH
You find your way to a light tunnel and feel as though you are crawling up for a new breath.
As the horizon opens up, rejoice with the sounds and sights of a flowering prairie from the perspective of a grass hopper.
